The Selvaggio Blu trek on the east coast of Sardinia has long since established itself as one of the most fascinating and technical routes of its kind. The Extreme version takes place in the opposite direction, from north to south, and offers more technical stages, with several abseils/rappels (one 96m!) and some climbing variants. At the end of April, Michele Barbiero and I accompanied a superteam on a somewhat special version, because we spent two nights on a boat and two in sheepfolds.
Thanks to good weather and a particularly close-knit team, it was a tour to remember!
A special thanks to all the participants and friends and colleagues for the great days of climbing before and after the trek.
Goodbye Sardinia, see you soon!
