At the end of August, we found ourselves in Madonna di Campiglio, for a new BAM Adventure. A large group with nine mountain guides and two people per guide!
The plan was to climb in the Brenta Dolomites, but the weather, with rain and snow at altitude in the first few days, did not help us much, so we went down to the Sarca Valley in search of better weather. During the rainy days we did some river trekking and indoor climbing, but then the weather improved somewhat and we were able to do some climbing and via ferrata using the hours of stable weather. In the second part of the week, although with lower temperatures, we managed to climb at altitude, even spending a night at the Tuckett hut. On the last day, we climbed the granite in Val Nambrone, on the slopes of Presanella. Many thanks to all the participants, who did a great job in adapting to the constant changes in the programme, and to the super team of colleagues: Beppe Villa, Alessandro Beber, Carlo Cosi, Cedric Specia, Luca Vallata, Andrea Fusari, Federico Dal Mas and, above all, Alberto De Giuli, who organised and coordinated everything to perfection.
