04/06/2013 Ortles 3905 m, Minnigerode couloir: after a long drive in the night (we started at 22.30 from Val badia!), we climbed in the darkness along the ski piste and the glacier to the bottom of the couloir. The weather was not good (clouds and a light snowfall), but the preview was for better weather around 8:00/9:00 a.m., so we climbed up in deep snow till the summit. Unfortunatly nothing changed, except some cold wind… it was too cold for waiting, so we skied down in bad visibility till almost the bottom of the steep part. Once again on the glacier, around 10:30, the weather improved as expected… not a lucky day! In any case the itinerary is really nice and challenging; we’ll be back for the pictures with the sun! 07/06/2013 Weiseespitze 3518 m, Kaunertal, Austria: this steep face was perfect for a quick run before our afternoon meeting in Garmisch… and this time the weather was absolutly gorgeous. We founded really nice snow and nobody aroud. Great skiing for the beginning of June! With Norbert Frenademetz
Both lines were skied first by Heini Holzer.
