Mount Collalto (Hochgall in German) 3,436 m is the highest peak in the Puster Alps.
Its north-west face is one of the most interesting steep ski lines in the eastern Alps, allowing, with good snow conditions, a beautiful, sustained descent starting practically from the summit on skis.
Thanks to the excellent snow conditions this spring, as well as finding a nice powdery snow at the top, we were able to start and arrive at the car on skis.
Definitely one of this season’s top itineraries.
