A nice climbing route on perfect rock inside the Fanes natural park, far away from the traffic and the noise of other climbing areas…
This route is South facing and can be climbed in Springtime and Autumn in a sunny day, as we did yesterday finding a super nice day!
Thanks to Simon Kehrer who opened this route and later decided to equipe it with bolts to make it more funny for all us…

Here a short description of the route and some pictures. For the topo (italian) go to Planetmountain.com.

Approach: from Fanes hut go to the Limo pass and the Limo lake. Follow the path on the right of the lake and climb up to first saddle on your right. Start now to traverse at the bottom of the face, descending a bit in the first part and then climbing up along a little track (cairns) to a dead tree. From here start to go up on steep terrain, directly to the bottom of the face. The starting point of the route is on the right of the yellow overanging part of the face and you can find a cairn and a sling at the bottom. Calculate around 1 hour from the hut.
Length: 200 m. – 7 pitches
Difficulty: VI (or V+ and A0); along the route there are many crags for friends and there are bolts and threads to indicate the line.
All the belays are comfortable and well equiped  (bolts).
Orientation: South
Gear: 10 quickdraws, slings and friends (camalots 0,5 – 1 – 2 – 3). All the belays are bolted and the are bolts along the pitches.
Descent: go left (west) and climb up a bit, till the path coming down from the Col Becchei summit. Follow it and go down to the lake and the hut (around 1 hour)..
