Civetta 3220 m

If you want to climb a big peak along a beautiful via ferrata there’s nothing better than Mount Civetta!
Saturday we climbed the summit in one push from the parking, following the Alleghesi via ferrata.
The temperature was very hot in the sun, but luckly we were in the clouds in the upper part.
On the top we were alone and we spent one hour looking around the panorama before to go down to the rifugio Torrani 2984 m, where we slept.
This little and basic hut, almost at the top of the mountain, is really a eagle nest and deserves one of the best sunrise you can see in the Dolomites.
Unfortunatly at sunset was still cloudy, but the day after we had a stunning sunrise towards Mount Pelmo.
Civetta is always a great experience!
