Freeride, steep skiing and actual conditions in the Dolomites

In the last two weeks we had any kind of weather and conditions: warm and sunny days, clouds, rain, new snow, strong wind and cold temperatures…
At the moment the snow is compact and worked by the wind, but in some places is possible to ski on spring snow, if it will be sunny and warmer again in the next days…
Best conditions are probably in the steep couloirs north facing, where the snow, blowed by the wind, is soft and nice for skiing.
Tomorrow will be the last working day for the Sass Pordoi and Lagazuoi cable cars and the next week will be the last for the most part of the lifts in the Dolomites.
Now will be the time for the skimountaineering on the big peaks and for travelling in new places!
In this month we’ll go to Kazakhstan and then (again) to Iceland; stay tuned for the pictures and updates (ProGuide on Istagram)
